SUHANUBHAV FOUNDATION, on 27th January, 2020, conducted a workshop on 'Basic Rights of Women' with the members of KVS. Women and girls are at risk of serious violations of their human rights, such as gender-based violence and harassment. Entrenched roles, attitudes and stereotypes also mean that many experience poverty, discrimination and unequal access to health services and the education and justice systems.
Our main agenda was to increase the understanding about civil and political right, their children's rights and gender inequality in their communities and build the capacity of women to advocate for their right and to encourage them to actively participate in communal development and political decision making.
